Working in TV

I started producing in 2021 at KOLO 8 News. Even without formal training in broadcast journalism, the first time I sat in front of all those screens, I knew I was in the right place.

After producing morning newscasts and juggling a second job, I left Reno to find my next challenge.

In 2022, I moved to Seattle for a producing job, a leap into a top-13 media market I never expected. There, I learned to juggle coverage across multiple cities and keep up with national and global stories. The constant breaking news pushed me to adapt quickly under pressure.

Craving a change, I switched to lifestyle TV, producing Great Day Houston with Deborah Duncan. I thought I knew television, but this role taught me the value of building relationships, communicating, and collaborating with clients. Every day, I work closely with clients to bring their stories to life.

I love TV magic, planned or spontaneous. My passion is turning ideas into memorable moments that connect with viewers.
